Drive with confidence — Branson & Co.

Built for the road

We make the gear for the people who keep America moving.

The big brands had the quality, at a premium. The knockoffs had the price, with a catch.

Nobody had quality at a fair price.

So I started Branson & Co.

Drivers ask

Quick answers to questions we hear from drivers and fleet managers.

Do I still need paper DVIRs if I have an ELD?

Yes. ELDs cover hours-of-service under FMCSA §395. The DVIR is a separate §396.11 requirement for vehicle inspection records. Even with an ELD, a written daily vehicle inspection report is still required for any defects affecting safe operation.

Drivers and carriers remain responsible for completing and maintaining records correctly.

What's the difference between Daily DVIR and Detailed DVIR?

Daily DVIR covers the §396.11 fields a DOT officer wants to see at roadside — tractor and trailer in one form. Detailed DVIR adds extended defect-tracking columns for fleets that need a deeper audit trail. Both are §396.11-compliant.

Will Branson forms pass a DOT roadside inspection?

Yes. Every form captures the exact fields required by FMCSA §396.11 — tractor, trailer, brakes, lights, tires, coupling devices, safety equipment, defects, and driver signature. Hand it to a DOT officer at roadside without explanation.

Drivers and carriers remain responsible for completing and maintaining records correctly.

How fast do you ship?

Orders ship within 1 business day via USPS Priority or UPS Ground. Most U.S. addresses receive within 3–5 business days. Fleet orders (50+ units) ship within 5 business days of payment.

Do you offer fleet pricing?

Yes. Volume discounts kick in at 50+ units per order, with tiered savings up to 15% on book SKUs at 1,500+ unit orders. Custom quotes available for larger or non-book volumes.
