What makes this pad different
Product details
Three-Column DVIR · 2-Ply Carbonless · 31 Sets per Pad
Three-column DVIR: pre-trip, post-trip, requires-repair. Every §396.11 inspection point with one set of checkboxes per status. 31 sets per pad, 2-ply carbonless.
The DVIR for fleets that take CSA seriously.
Three columns — pre-trip, post-trip, requires-repair — let a driver mark a single inspection line three times in a single shift. The defect list is extended to cover items most basic DVIR pads skip.
Why three columns matter.
The standard DVIR gives you one column: 'is this defective.' The Detailed gives you three: 'how was it at pre-trip,' 'how was it at post-trip,' and 'does it need repair.' Roadside inspectors love this format because it shows you walked the truck twice and tracked condition changes through the shift.
An extended inspection list.
Generator, fuel tanks, oil level, radiator level — covered on the Detailed and not on most generic DVIRs. If a fleet is targeting a CSA score under 50, this is the form that closes the gap.
Closes the §396.11(b) repair loop.
When a defect is found, the Repair column flags it for the shop. The mechanic's signature line at the bottom certifies the repair — exactly what §396.11(b) requires for the carrier to put the vehicle back into service.
Drivers and carriers remain responsible for completing, storing, and using records according to applicable rules and company procedures.

What vehicles is this for?
Can I fill it out without a desk or clipboard?
Will the ink smear in the cab or in bad weather?
What size are the forms?
Do I have to submit a report every day, even with no defects?
